Bewerbung um einen Auftritt in der Kulturtenne (english version below)

Liebe Künstler*innen,

es gibt ein großes Interesse, in der Kulturtenne aufzutreten – was uns natürlich sehr freut!

Hier einige „Meilensteine“ auf dem Weg zur Bewerbung:

• Wir sind ein kleiner gemeinnütziger Verein, der seit Februar 2011 überwiegend Konzerte, aber auch Lesungen, Theater, Kabarett und viermal im Jahr Kunstausstellungen durchführt – im würdigen Rahmen eines denkmalgeschützten Fachwerkhauses in Damnatz, der „Perle an der Elbe“.

• Wir bieten eine Plattform für den Austausch kulturinteressierter Menschen und stehen für Veranstaltungen mit Qualität und Wohlfühlcharakter. Wir wollen ein Publikum ansprechen, das innovative und verbindende Liveprogramme abseits vom „Üblichen“ schätzt.

• Passend zu unseren Themenkreisen „Handgemachte Volxmusik“, „Alltagsgeschichten“ und „Starke Stimmen wacher Frauen“ haben wir herausragende regionale und überregionale Künstler*innen im Programm, mit dem Fokus auf Frauen, um der Unterrepräsentation entgegenzuwirken. 

• Unser Ziel ist es, Kultur mit Genuss und Dialog zu verbinden. Die Gäste sitzen an großen Tischen, es werden verschiedenste Getränke angeboten, in der Pause kann man saisonale Speisen genießen und immer kommt es zum regen Austausch der Gäste untereinander und mit den Künstler*innen.

• Veranstaltungstage sind generell Freitage oder Samstage, Vernissagen finden auch an Sonntagen statt. Die Monate März, Juli, August und Dezember sind veranstaltungsfrei. Weder in diesem Jahr, 2025, noch im nächsten Jahr (2026) gibt es noch freie Plätze für Veranstaltungen. Mit 20 Veranstaltungen sind auch alle Termine im nächsten Jahr belegt, siehe "Programm".

• Unsere Bühne ist zwar relativ klein, hat bisher aber immer ausgereicht, sogar für Quartette und kleine Theateraufführungen. Der Raum hat eine sehr gute Akustik und es gibt eine exzellente Soundanlage mit Mischpult (Yamaha Stagepass), 2 Mikrophonen, E-Piano und Head-Set. LED-Spots sorgen für die Bühnenbeleuchtung und es gibt einen schwarzen Hintergrund (Vorhang). Eine TechnikerIn gibt es nicht, die Anlage muss selbst bedient werden. Spätestens eine Woche nach der Veranstaltung muss die Setlist für die Gema zugeschickt werden. Aufbau und Soundcheck sind 2 Stunden vor Beginn möglich. 

• Wir bieten zwei Gästezimmer mit eigenem Bad (1 Doppelbett, 2 Einzelbetten) direkt in der Kulturtenne, sehr gutes Abendessen und bei Übernachtung auch Frühstück aus unserer Küche.

• Es werden nur Festgagen gezahlt (auf Wunsch mit Vertrag), „Hutsammlungen“ gibt es nicht. Bei den Gagen ist zu beachten, dass wir nur Platz für maximal 45 Gäste haben und 15 € Eintritt verlangen. Von den Eintrittsgeldern müssen neben den Gagen auch Miete, Unterkunft und Verpflegung der Künstler*innen, sowie GEMA- und KSK-Gebühren bezahlt werden. Ohne Fördergelder ist unsere Veranstaltungsstätte insofern nicht tragbar. Da diese aber leider nie fest planbar sind – weder zeitlich noch in der Höhe – müssen wir Bewerbungen eventuell ablehnen, wenn die Gagenwünsche nicht ins Budget passen.

Artist application: Application for a performance in the Kulturtenne

Dear artists,

There is a great deal of interest in performing at the Kulturtenne - which of course makes us very happy!

Here are some “milestones” on the way to applying:

   We are a small non-profit association that has been staging mainly concerts, but also readings, theater, cabaret and art exhibitions four times a year since February 2011 - in the dignified setting of a listed half-timbered house in Damnatz, the “Pearl on the Elbe”.

   We offer a platform for people interested in culture to exchange ideas and stand for events with quality and a feel-good factor. We want to appeal to an audience that appreciates innovative and unifying live programs away from the “usual”.

   In line with our themes “Handmade folk music”, “Everyday stories” and “Strong voices of awake women”, we have outstanding regional and national artists in our program, with a focus on women to counteract underrepresentation.

   Our aim is to combine culture with enjoyment and dialog. Guests sit at large tables, a wide variety of drinks are offered, seasonal dishes can be enjoyed during the break and there is always a lively exchange between guests and with the artists.

   Events are generally held on Fridays or Saturdays, with openings also taking place on Sundays. The months of March, July, August and December are event-free. There are no free places for events either this year (2025) or next year (2026). With 20 events, all dates for next year are booked, see "Program".

  Although our stage is relatively small, it has always been sufficient, even for quartets and small theater performances. The room has very good acoustics and there is an excellent sound system with mixing console (Yamaha Stagepass), 2 microphones, electric piano and head set. LED spotlights provide the stage lighting and there is a black backdrop (curtain). There is no technician, you have to operate the system yourself. The setlist for the Gema must be sent no later than one week after the event. Set-up and sound check are possible 2 hours before the start.

 We offer two guest rooms with private bathroom (1 double bed, 2 single beds) directly in the Kulturtenne, very good dinner and breakfast from our kitchen if you stay overnight.

   Only fixed fees are paid (on request with a contract), there are no “hat collections”. Please note that we only have room for a maximum of 45 guests and charge an entrance fee of €15. In addition to the entrance fees, the artists' rent, accommodation and meals as well as GEMA and KSK fees must also be paid from the entrance fees. Without funding, our venue would not be sustainable. However, as these can unfortunately never be firmly planned - neither in terms of time nor amount - we may have to reject applications if the requested fees do not fit into the budget.
